David Stocker is a writer, musician, and teacher in the Midwestern United States. He is part of a musical tribe called One Drum.

Performer and producer of the show “Around The World in Fifty Minutes,” David has over twenty years of experience as an actor, educator, performance artist, children’s songwriter and musician. Four songs from his self-produced award winning CD, Moondog Anthology, were featured in 1998 & 1999 as finalists at the South Florida Folk Festival, national songwriting competition. He received a Masters of Fine Arts in acting from Yale University School of Drama and is an Artist-in-Residence with the Illinois Arts Council. In 1987, David started Dijeridoo Productions to promote children’s involvement in world music and to produce original musical & theatrical endeavors.

David currently lives in Rockford, Illinois.
